Danita Hampton, a North Carolina-based hairstylist and Covet & Mane Lead Educator, calls out this shampoo, which lives up to its name and maintains the vibrancy of your color. It "ends up saving you money at the salon because you don't have to go back for color as much," she explains. (Hard to argue with that.) It also uses two modes to defend hair against UV-induced fading.

In her own post, the celebrity hairstylist noted that the extensions came from the brand Covet & Mane—just for future gala reference. "Killed this hair!" wrote a commenter on Conkle's post. "So chic and beautiful!!" We couldn't agree more!

The Met Gala may have spring-boarded the loose wave trend, but according to Justin McKay, pro-stylist for Covet & Mane, the slightly undone look is here to stay. But the core of this flowy style lies in a great cut with lots of long layers.

The brunette beauty also stole the show with her signature long, dark chestnut locks with glimpses of honey-colored highlights, thanks to Covet & Mane hair extensions and styling by Lina Kidis (a RHONJ go-to colorist and stylist who recently touched up the tresses of Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice).

“Extensions can be for anyone who is looking for added length or density,” explains Taylor Blades, Covet & Mane educator and owner of Blades Styling in Gilbert, Arizona. Something to consider: your hair texture. Priscilla Valles, a celebrity extensionist, says that those with naturally thick hair will actually need more extensions to make up for their length.

To style this look, rough dry your hair for texture and use a smaller curling iron [in alternate directions] to work in loose beach waves and movement. Finish the look with a texture spray or a sea salt spray to lock it in place.”
